Never needing to touch grass... never needing to worry about food and water... never needing to do anything but indulge in your nerdy hobbies, free of cringe? Yup. There's no doubt about it. The life of a shut-in is the only life for you.
At least... that was the case. A single chance encounter with a young woman named Isabelle turns your entire life upside down. Now bearing the weight of Isabelle's $35,000 debt on your shoulders, you need to find a job-- and fast. With no other choice, you step foot back into the City you so loathed in search of work. Who knows, maybe it won't be all that bad? These next 28 days of your life could end up going for the better. It's plenty of time for love to work its magic, after all! This is the premise of Love on Company Time, which is currently being developed in RPGMaker MV for its prologue demo. Once completed, we will be making the transition to Godot for the full game.
I serve as the sole narrative designer and game writer on Love on Company Time's production. Given a specific criteria that I had to meet - the number of love interests, locations, genre, and mechanics - I've been working on developing the colorful cast of characters players will encounter when playing as our robotically quirky protagonist. On top of fleshing out the characters, I am writing the game's narrative script from start to finish and assisting in the implementation of it in-game. When I have time to spare for the production, I'm extensively QA playtesting and assisting in bug fixing to improve the gameplay experience.
